As founder and director of Maths Teacher Circles, Michaela Epstein brings together K-12 teachers globally to share expertise and uncover new teaching strategies.
Michaela has taught maths and led teams at schools in rural and urban areas. She has been awarded by the Australian Council for Educational Research for her work in improving school numeracy outcomes.
She has served as President of the Mathematical Association of Victoria, and on the Council of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers.
Michaela has also designed problems and puzzles that have been used by over 60,000 students and their teachers.
In her work, Michaela's aim is to help teachers reignite their own curiosity for mathematics and develop strategies so all students can become strong and confident mathematical thinkers.
